I for one am glad he comes to a sticky end before Herbert Lom escapes from the villagers who decide to rebel against the atrocities inflicted on them by the aforesaid villains of the piece.

The bluray is superb with a nice sounding musical soundtrack that belies the torture and bloodshed that takes place throughout.

I would say this film is on a par with Witchfinder General another witch hunting tale of torture bloodshed and treachery. I contacted Arrow Films, and they said they only gave the booklets out with the first few, and sent me a PDF version.
